It’sMe!, my pov of the down-side living in indonesia.

The food was amazing.

The view is nice.

The rent quite manageable. Basically poor people friendly country 😇 .

What a nice place to live, only if it’s okay to you to ride a bike everytime, the motor bike.

It’s better dying than walking the indonesian heat. You could die and it’s not a joke, 35deg celcius for a bright day.

There is no way you can commute in indonesia but ride a bike your self, or spend a billions rupiah a mouth for GOJEK.

The polution is another old friend to deal with. Like driving in sahara, as you drive the dust is going on your side, be ready.

If you google for popular spot in indonesia, you might find natural landscape, beaches, rice field, sunset, sunrise bullshits.

The fact is so hard to get there, because there is no proper publict transportation in the area. It’s really a thing for `risking your life on the road` , it’s so hard to get there.

Trespassing everywhere even in a bussy road, with traffict light and overpass everywhere seems not helping the way people think.

Can’t even stand on a line, people with motor bike will always find a way to slid on a bad trafict cause even worse trafict.

Poor infrastructure, like really bad in some areas. because there was no sidewalk, places like a public market is full of people who walk on the main road among the big cars, trucks and the damn motor bike.

The people, many people fighting so hard to survive. Big city like Jakarta, Surabaya, Semarang, Medan, Jogja etc, is known for street food, really really good food. Guess where they sell the food? The cross walk, already really tiny crosswalk is taken for their food stall.

You can see line of people standing for hours in the road among among the big cars, trucks and the damn motor bike stading for really really good yet cheap food.

For western people you can retire here with your `low wages` money, trust me.

It’s a 10/10 country, full of things you can find with zero regrets.
